Gallegos himself has a rich history, having previously owned the much-loved venue, The Armory, which played a crucial role in Albuquerque’s metal landscape until its closure in 2017.

As president of the New Mexico Death Militia (NMDM), Gallegos is committed to fostering a sense of community among local musicians. NMDM has been promoting local metal shows for nearly two decades, emphasizing friendship and collaboration rather than exclusivity. Their annual events, such as the Brutal Christmas Drive, highlight their dedication to supporting both the music and the community.

Unseen Espiritu’s music is a blend of death metal, black metal, and hardcore punk, marked by technical guitar work and intense drumming.
